Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Munjam processes, why we process it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to contact us.

Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the Munjam website, application, accounts, workspaces, billing flows, support interactions, and related services.

Munjam is the controller for account, workspace, website, and support data that we process to provide the service. Some payment and billing data may be processed directly by our payment provider or merchant-of-record provider under its own terms and privacy notices.

Account and workspace data

We process account data such as name, email address, login details, language preference, company or workspace name, team membership, roles, invitations, authentication events, and support messages.

We process workspace data such as searches, jobs, filters, saved records, notes, tags, owners, review states, credit ledger activity, field reveal actions, exports, integrations, notifications, and audit events.

Billing and payment data

We may process billing information such as plan, subscription status, invoices, payment references, tax information, country, billing email, and refund status.

Full card numbers and sensitive payment credentials are handled by the payment provider, not stored by Munjam. We may receive limited payment status, invoice, and transaction identifiers needed to operate accounts and support billing questions.

Website, device, and cookie data

When you use the website or application, we may process device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, session events, error logs, performance data, and cookie or similar identifiers.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate sessions, remember preferences, improve performance, understand product usage, and protect accounts. Browser settings may let you limit some cookies, but essential features may not work without them.

Legal bases and business purposes

Where required by law, we rely on legal bases such as contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligations, and protection against fraud or abuse.

Our legitimate interests include operating a B2B SaaS product, securing accounts, preventing abuse, improving service quality, supporting customers, and maintaining accurate billing and audit records.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, billing, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement.

Retention periods vary by data type. Account and billing records may be kept for legal and tax reasons; logs and analytics are normally kept for shorter operational periods; workspace data may remain until deleted by the customer or according to account settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including access controls, secure sessions, least-privilege practices, monitoring, backups, and operational security procedures.

No online service is perfectly secure. You are responsible for using strong credentials, limiting team access, and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To make a privacy request, contact us using the legal contact shown on this page. We may need to verify your identity and workspace authority before completing the request.

Children

Munjam is a business service and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The last updated date on this page shows when the current version was posted.
